Xin Yi is a composer for film and video games. She showed a passion for music at a very young age and continuously explored the possibilities of music.

Xin Yi graduated from Musicians Institute with a Bachelor degree in Composition-Scoring for Visual Media. After that, she studied commercial music at California State University for one year. She was studying game scoring privately with the composer Garry Schyman in Los Angeles. She has some experience of collaborating with student directors. Her work with the student directors from ACCD won the 3rd place in Sunset Film Festival. She also won prizes from competitions like Vivaldi International Music Competition and Berlioz international Music Competition.
